The aged stone floor tiling is cut from the Ibicencan limestone called “piedra viva”, that is quarried on the island and much of the internal carpentry is from recycled pine.

Increasingly, parametric design is being used. Rainwater is harvested for use in the house, and all the excess water is recycled back into the lavatory and the garden.
